Rebecca Carreon Obituary
SALLEY, SC - Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" McRae Carreon, 75, went home to be with her Lord Monday April 4, 2016.
Becky was the wife of Jose "Joe" M. Carreon for 46 years. She was the loving mother of Richard Campany of Atlantic Beach, FL, Judy C. (Donald) Strogonoff of Grovetown, GA, Joseph "Scoot" (Rebecca) Carreon, and the late Thomas Campany. Becky was the grandmother of Alexandria (Cristian) Krumme of Hinesville, GA, Daniel Banks of Atlanta, GA, Michael Campany, Brittany Campany and Jonathan Campany of Atlantic Beach, FL and sister of Harold "Douglas" McRae, Linda Meadows, Johnnie (Ronnie) Baggett, and Dorothy "Polly" (Pete) Sebestation.
Becky was born in Clio, AL to the late Preston B. McRae and the late Julia "Judy" Middlebrooks Kothe.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday April 7th in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 163 Main St. S., Wagener, SC 29164. A Service to Celebrate the life of Becky will be at 2 pm Friday April 8th in the Harlem United Methodist Church, 115 W. Milledgeville Rd., Harlem, GA 30814. The family will receive friends in the church from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service. The Rev. Dr. Mike Shearon will be ministering to the family. Interment will follow the service at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Rd., Grovetown, GA 30813. Honorary Pallbearers will be veterans from VFW Post # 6304. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790.
