Mr. Raymond Cowan Sr.
Graniteville - Mr. Raymond Lyle Cowan Sr., 66, of Graniteville, SC, beloved husband of Mrs. Patricia Key Cowan, entered into rest on Sunday, July 01, 2018. Born in Massillon, OH and a resident of Aiken County, SC, since 1972, he was a son of the late George Cowan Sr. and Viola Rich and was reared by George and Thelma Arline Cowan. He proudly and with honor served his country in the United States Army. He was a welder for the Hamburg Railroad Company. Mr. Cowan enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and hunting. In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his children, Raymond Lyle Cowan Jr. and his significant other Cary and the late Stacey Ann Cowan, grandchildren, Briana Spradley, Bryan Baxley and his wife, Taneasha, Justin Brimmer and great-grandchildren, Lilah Raye Icenhour and Scarlett Quinn Baxley. The family will greet friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018, beginning at 1 o'clock followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
