Randy Treas Obituary

Randy Lee Treas
Oct 18, 1957-Mar 19, 2013
Resident of Richmond
Randy Lee Treas, 56, of Richmond, passed away on March 19, 2013, at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA.
Randy was the third of four sons delivered by Ida Marin and Joseph Treas in Richmond, CA. Of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent, he was the greatest dad any ethnicity would be proud to call its own.
Randy is survived by his children, Jason Treas, Angela Treas of Grass Valley, and Joey (Dolores) Treas of San Ramon, CA; Three grandsons; brothers, Joe (Peggy) Treas of Ripon, Rick Treas of Modesto and Timmy Treas (Deceased) of Richmond, CA.
Known in his youth as a Tornado, as his mom would always describe him, he was for many, a lifelong friend. Randy lived life with a spirituality that embraced everyone he encountered, his charisma was infectious.
For over ten years Randy worked as a Safeway warehouseman. As a lifelong member of Teamsters Local 315, most will tell you to this day how proud he was to be a part of that brotherhood.
He was a proud and sometimes stubborn man, eclectic in many of his ways, those who encountered him in his life could not deny his ability to make anyone smile or laugh at one point or another.
We hope that each person reading this joins with us in celebrating the best of our dad Randy and all that he brought to our lives. Remember the infectiousness of his smile, the wheezing sound of his laughter, the firm grip of his hand shake and the genuine affection of his embrace.
Through our memoires and the tales we relive of our experiences with him, we bring his spirit nearer to us. In heaven we bring happiness to his heart. Each of us loved our Dad in the way he taught us. Unconditionally.
We love and miss you Dad.

My dear friend, I'm so glad I found you # and was able to talk to you after so my lost years. Talking to a officer once I still chuckle at your words to him: "Mr officer is that a real gun. Mr officer what would you do If I reached out and took it". Ha! You we were about 12 at the time. Though we will not meet on this earth again, I take great comfort in knowing that I will see you in heaven, with our wonderful Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ!---Your friend, Chuck Eastman
