Passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at home. Stephen was born September 18, 1953 in Jackson, MI, the son of David and Rita (Steimel) Colbath. He most recently worked for Carlex of Nashville, TN. Surviving are his daughter, Tiffany (Ryan) Murphy of Kalamazoo; His parents in Traverse City; three grandchildren, Damian Hill, Silas and Ava Murphy all of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Carol (Brad) Pines of Troy, Jan (Wes) Swain of Harbor Springs. Friends are being received Friday from 6-8 PM at the Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008, where a memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 AM. (269) 343-6156.
