To my family:
I was saddened and surprised to hear about the passing of Marquis. He will surely be missed as my heart goes out to the entire family. This timing feels especially tough to say goodbye to Marquis due to the fact we are in a pandemic and we cannot move around as we once did. I wish I could be there with you to honor Marquis's homegoing service.
It's really hard to lose someone who means so much, especially when it comes as an unexpected shock. It's even harder because we can't all be together to say goodbye but we are there in spirit now and in the days and weeks ahead.
Reat and Pat may you always remember how it felt to laugh with Q-man and to be loved by him. The love you two gave him as parents will always live on in you. It is sad to lose him but I hope you find peace in knowing that you were there for him. Remember Marquis was loved by many others, too, - me for one.
I am glad to know that he will be at Old Macedonia Baptist Church with his grandmother, granddad as well as with other family and will never be alone.
Deuteronomy 31:6. " Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."
