Phyllis Williams Obituary
BAXLEY, GA - Phyllis Cain Williams, age 81, of Baxley passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 in the Appling Healthcare System.
Mrs. Williams was born July 6, 1939 in Appling County to the late George Washington Cain and the late Sarah Chappell Cain. She was a retired caretaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Williams, granddaughter, Nikki Orvin, great grandchildren, Samantha and Caitlyn Orvin, brothers, Jack Cain, George L. Cain, Randall Cain and Mickey Rentz.
Survivors include her daughters, Rita Orvin of Baxley and Denise (David) Pittman of Vidalia; son, Mitchell (Kathy) Bryant of Baxley; sisters, Maudrey Sanders, Hilda (Larry) Bruce and Renee Rentz all of Hazlehurst and Jan (Kenny) Jung of Jacksonville, N.C; brothers, Dwight Cain of Baxley, Merrell Rentz of Pitts, J.B. Rentz of Rincon and Terry Rentz of Baxley. Four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Appling Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Remembrances may be made to the Shriners Hospitals of Children (2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607).
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
