Phyllis June Jordan
AIKEN - Phyllis June Jordan, age 85, entered into rest Friday, December 31, 2021.
Mrs. Jordan was born in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Ella Ferguson. She was a resident of Aiken, SC since 1968 and of the Baptist faith. Her family described her as a very tough and resilient lady, having overcome many health struggles during her life.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Charles F. Jordan; a daughter, Beverly Ann Negrete; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Patterson.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Wayne Jordan (Gale) and Steven C. Jordan (Sharon), all of Aiken, SC; son-in-law, Gus Negrete; grandchildren, Ashley Nelson (Jon); Kristen Barnes (Michael), and Cecilia Negrete Nava (Martin); great-grandchildren, Brianna Lopez, Karlee Orozco, Kynslee Negrete, Charles Negrete, Miguel Nava, Jordan Nelson, Macey Nelson, Miguel Negrete, Brandon Barnes, and Easton Barnes.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Aiken Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rod Lewis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234), has charge of arrangements.
