EDGEFIELD, SC - Funeral Services for Mrs. Peggy Diane McKie McIntosh, 61, who entered into rest August 10, 2014, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Phillip Howle officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McIntosh was a life-long resident of North Augusta and attended Antioch Baptist Church. She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family. Additionally, she enjoyed NASCAR, camping, fishing, dancing and billiards.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Laura McKie, Edgefield, SC and Daniel and Kristy Byrd, North Augusta, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Tabitha and William Mead, Edgefield, SC; a step son, Billy Byrd, North Augusta, SC; a step-daughter, Barbara Byrd, Clearwater, SC; a brother, Louis McKie, North Augusta, SC; a sister, Thelma Chriswell, Batesburg, SC; seven grandchildren, Kandace Layton, Darcy Meisinger, Jr., Santana Mead, Amber Byrd, Haley Byrd, Emily McKie and Sara Beth McKie; three great-grandchildren, Gage Matanane, Koal Layton and Stark Layton.
Pallbearers will be Stevie Herron, Gene Herron, Kennith Williams, Eric McKie, Mike King and Roland Layton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 5 until 7.
