Pauline Hinson Obituary
WAGENER - Mary Pauline Meadows Hinson, 77, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
Left to cherish Pauline's memories are her husband of 35 years, Louie Von Hinson, Jr., children: Nicholas Jay (Ruark Thomas) Nesbit, Jeffrey "Jeff" Scott Nesbit, Sr., and Erin Brooks (Zeke) Miller, grandchildren: Lauren (Joshua) Sparks, Jeffrey Scott Nesbit, Jr., and Ace Miller, great grandchildren: Sullivan Sparks and Louie Sparks, brothers-in-law: Finley Stephen Hinson, Timothy "Tim" Dean (Dolly) Hinson, and Carl Turner,
Pauline was born on February 12, 1948, to the late Paul Leamon Meadows and the late Thelma Branham Meadows. She is also preceded in death by her brother: Glenn Meadows, her sister-in-law, Martha Hinson, and her four-legged best friend: Shadow.
Pauline was a woman known for her compassionate heart and caring spirit. She lived a life of service, dedicating her time to being generous in all areas of her life. A Special Needs Case Worker, Pauline was a champion of the cognitively disabled. Through her work, she demonstrated one of her greatest qualities, which was helping others. Pauline enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and the beach. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden tending to anything that would grow. An avid reader, she enjoyed mystery novels and especially loved all books written by her favorite author, Nicholas Sparks. Pauline's greatest love was her family. She will be forever missed and dearly loved.
The Hinson family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Amedisys Hospice, especially Kayla, Lexus, and Tony. A very special thank you to her nurses, Ciera and Shaylah, for the compassionate care they gave to Pauline and the entire family. The family also would like to thank Julianna Mills for her loving care and devotion to Pauline.
The family will honor Pauline's life with a private service.

Pauline was my best friend when we were in elementary school. After she moved away and went to another school, we lost touch with each other. Many years later, we were able to reconnect and I was blessed to spend a few years with her. She was the sweetest person, and I really thought the world of her. She will be greatly missed.
