Paul J. Lott Sr.
Beech Island - Mr. Paul J. Lott Sr., 77, of Beech Island, SC, beloved husband of 60 years to Runette Lott entered into rest peacefully in his sleep at his home on Friday, January 21, 2022.
Born in and a life long resident of Aiken County, he was the only child of the late William P. and Dorothy L. Lott. He worked 28 at Avondale and retired from Bridgestone/Firestone plant in Graniteville, SC. Mr. Paul worked as a machinist, roofed homes and carpentry. He was a jack of all trades and never slowed down. He loved working on cars, taking trips with family and friends to the mountains on motorcycles, and taking fishing trips. He dedicated his life to hard work, taking care of his family and lovingly doing for others. He always put others before himself and will be truly missed.
In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his children, Bobby Lott, Paul (Vickie) Lott, and Tina (Tony) Randall; daughter-in-law, Frances (The late Dewey) Toole; grandchildren, William (Sam) Lott, Matthew (Stephinie) Lott, Joseph Randall, Aaron Lott, and Elizabeth Smith; as well as eight great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 5 P.M. at Unity Outreach Church, 188 School Street, Gloverville, SC, with Pastor Eder Herrera to officiate. Masks will be provided at the church to those that would like to attend.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Paul's memory be made to the Ringler Dialysis Center, University Parkway, Aiken, SC in honor of the caring and devoted staff that Paul loved.
