Patsy Richardson Obituary
AIKEN - Patsy Randall Richardson, 76, went to be with her Savior and her husband Rich & her son Scott on Friday, November 15, 2019 at her home in Aiken.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Richardson & the daughter of the late Willie & Annie Randall. She is survived by a son Ken (Lorie) Richardson and a daughter-in-law Amelyn Richardson a sister Betty (Gerald) Owen, her grandchildren, Caitlin, Max, McKenna, Zander, Chase, Maddox, Mikaela, Hailey, Mackenzie and Logan, nephews and treasured loved ones Jo Harley and Cheryl Murphy.
Pat and her husband "Rich" owned Richardson's Flowers and Gifts until their retirement in 2009. Pat will be remembered for her great sense of humor and being the "Other Mother" to so many children in her neighborhood and around Aiken. These children never forgot the love she bestowed on all of them.
In addition to her husband & her parents, Pat is preceded in death by a beloved a son Master Public Safety Officer Scott Richardson, a granddaughter, Hannah and brother Edward Randall.
A celebration of her life will be held in the Chapel of Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home on Monday afternoon, November 18th at 3 o'clock. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2 o'clock. The service will be conducted by Rev. Richard McWhite and eulogized by her cousin Tim Harley. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. The Pallbearers will be her cousins, David Harley, Larry Harley, her nephews, Gerry Owen, Randy Owen, and dear friends Tony Craps and Troy Ussery and Honorary Pallbearers will be Cheryl & Kent Murphy, Jo Harley, Mary Ann Burgess, Sandra Burkhart, Wilda Hawkins, Sharon Smith, Robbie Hunt, Kurt & Robyn Yarbrough.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the care she received from Caris Hospice Care and Rose Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beside the Badge 175 Sunderland Road Aiken, S.C. or to her church, Redds Branch Baptist Church, 390 Redds Branch Church Road Aiken.
