Patricia "Patsy" Mason Parker
AIKEN, SC - SC-Mrs. Patricia "Patsy" Mason Parker, 63, beloved wife of twenty-five years to Mr. Dennis J. Parker, entered into rest on Saturday, August 15th, 2015, in the comfort of her home with her loving family at her side, after courageous fourteen year battle with cancer.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of Ann Bohler Mason, Harlem, GA and the late Charles Mason.
She retired from SRNS in 2012 after twenty-three years of service as a Radiological Control Inspector.
Patsy was an active member of Matlock Baptist Church, Jackson, SC, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed shagging, dancing, singing, drawing, playing the piano and photography.
However, more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Brooke Lewis, Terre Anderson, Jasmine Strang, Madison Giacobone, Haylee Foreman, Ty Foreman, Reagan Foreman, Ryleigh Foreman, Keylee Foreman, Gage Bowers and Bryce Foreman and great-grandchildren, Zaniya Strang, Aubri Strang and Tatum Lewis.
In addition to her husband, parents, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family members include her children, Ginny Lewis and her husband, Terry, Jackson, SC, Todd Foreman and his wife, Rhonda Aiken, SC, Keith Foreman and his wife, Katica, Aiken, SC, Kerry Foreman and his wife, Holly, Jackson, SC and April Parker, Columbia, SC and siblings, the late Timothy Mason and Chuck Mason and his wife, Connie, Harlem, GA.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 20th, 2015, at 10 o'clock at Matlock Baptist Church, Jackson, SC, with Pastors Mark Riser, Dale Reeves and Travis Sharpe officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park, Jackson, SC.
Pallbearers will be Perry Thomas, Scott Hyer, Charlie Tilley, Tim Baker, Al Lee, Kelvin Oglesby, Jason Hyer and Rhett Widener. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Matlock Baptist Church choir.
If so desired, memorials may be made to Unsheltered International (www.unsheltered.org) or the Children's Program at Matlock Baptist Church. (www.matlockbaptist.org)
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, from 5 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
