Otis Harrison Obituary
AUGUSTA, GA - Mr. Otis Ray Harrison, 71, of Dallas Drive, entered in eternal rest at the Augusta University Medical Center on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Memorial Services will be held on 12 PM Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, 97 Dry Branch Rd, Aiken, SC with Rev. Etta Eubanks, officiating.
He was the son of Jeff and Neomia Harrison. Otis was a 1964 graduate of Martha Schofield High School. He served three years in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He retired with 30 years of service at Proctor and Gamble in Augusta, GA. After retiring, he enjoyed working on cars and lending a helping hand. He was a loving and giving man.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jonas Harrison while leaving to cherish many memories: his loving wife, Essie Stallings Harrison; a daughter, Faith Harrison, Augusta, GA; two sons, Brian (Lecresha) Harrison, Augusta, GA and Travis (Nicole) Harrison, Greer, SC; three sisters, Daisy King, Lithonia, GA; Joan Spearman and Shirley Harrison, both of Aiken, SC; two brothers, Herman (Sandra) Harrison, Beech Island, SC and Jeff Harrison, Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Esther Green, Geneva (Jarthur) Harris, B. Elaine S. (Kenneth) Powell, and Johnette Williams; two brothers-in-law, Lewis (Mary) Stallings and Marion (Mildred) Stallings; and a grand-aunt, Lula Crowder, Cocoa, FL.
