Ola Duncan Obituary

Ola Mae Duncan, 89, of North Augusta, SC, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026.

Born on March 15, 1936, to her late parents Edward and Minnie Harris, Ola Mae lived a life defined by devotion to her family, strong faith, and a tireless work ethic. She dedicated 30 years of service to S & S Truck Stop, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and warm spirit. Through her years of work, she formed lasting friendships and touched countless lives.

Ola Mae was an active and faithful member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life and an important part of who she was. She found great joy in dancing and treasured every moment spent with her family, who meant more to her than anything else. Her laughter, love, and gentle strength will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Jackson "Jackie" Duncan; her daughters, Debra Knowles (Tony), Susan Quarles, and Barbara Everett (Ken); her grandchildren, Melissa McElhaney, Michael Smith, Heather Willingham, Chrystal Blizzard, and Tara Nelson; as well as multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday afternoon, March 6th, at 2 o'clock from the Sweetwater Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Brian Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, March 5th, from 5 until 7 o'clock.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her Sunday School Class.

Ola Mae's legacy of love, faith, and family will live on for generations to come. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
