Nancy Taylor Obituary

Beech Island, SC – Funeral Services for Nancy Kay Rollins Taylor, 85, who entered into rest August 13, 2025, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from Matlock Baptist Church, Rev. Dale Reeves and Dr. Mark Riser officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 until 6. Mrs. Taylor was born May 27, 1940, in Woodruff, SC to the late Fred and Era Waddell. She was an active and longtime member of Matlock Baptist Church where she served in many capacities over the years, most recently as a teacher and member of the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Taylor retired from Kimberly Clark after 27 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Frank Rollins; sisters, Ruth Waddell and Linda Gail Jones; brother, Norman Waddell. Survivors include her husband, James Taylor, Sr.; brothers, Curtis Waddell and Darryl Morgan; her children, James "Tim" Rollins (Cynthia) and Michael Rollins (Elizabeth); his children, Jason Taylor (Tracy), Brandi Brookings, Crystal Graham (Joey), James Taylor, Jr. (Meredith) and Michelle Stanley; her grandchildren, Megan Smith (Jason), Alyssa Rollins, Brandon Rollins (Jessica) and Shayne Rollins (Michelle); numerous great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brandon Rollins, Shayne Rollins, Jason Smith, Lucas Smith, Jason Taylor and James Taylor, Jr. Memorials may be made to Matlock Baptist Church, PO Box 496, Jackson, SC 29831.
