Myrtle Sapp Davis
AIKEN, S.C. - Ms. Myrtle Sapp Davis, 82, entered into rest on Monday, September 1st, 2014.
Born in Rock Hill, SC and a resident of Aiken County, SC, since 1981, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Pearl Lytle Sapp. She was a former Nursing Assistant with Drs. Royal and Bland and retired from the Aiken County School District. Ms. Davis was a member of Christ's Way Christian Church where she enjoyed doing volunteer work. She enjoyed cooking for a large number of people and keeping her great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, family members include a daughter, Debra D. Green, Aiken, SC; son, Ken (Elaine) Davis, Jacksonville, FL; siblings, Edith Ledbetter, Rock Hill, SC, Sara Fields, Rock Hill, SC, the late Paul Sapp, the late David Sapp, the late Ernest Sapp and Jackie Sapp, Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Green, Allison (Chris) Cicero and Misti Davis and great-grandchildren, Haley Green, Robby Green, Carter Cicero, Tyson Cicero and Ethan Davis.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Davis will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 4th, 2014, at 5 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Mike Terry officiating.
If so desired, memorials may be made to Christ's Way Christian Church.
The family will greet friends on Thursday from 3:30 until 5 o'clock at
Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
