Mr. Jerry Lankford Obituary

Mr. Jerry Walker Lankford of Langley, SC, husband of thirty-five years to Suzanne Scott "Suzie" Lankford, entered into rest on Saturday morning, August 16, 2025, two days before his sixty-third birthday. A lifelong area resident, he was the son of Daisy Blackmon Wren and the late Ira Leroy Lankford. He began working at Pactiv at the age of twenty and was an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at the time of his death. Even though Jerry was a quiet man who kept his circle small, he was very caring. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. Jerry enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He was a "Ford Man" through and through and would not own anything unless it was a Ford. Most days, he could be found in his shop working on his Hotrods. He was built "Ford Tough". Along with his wife, Suzie, and his mother, Daisy, Jerry is survived by his only son, Jerry Matthew Lankford. Also preceding Jerry in death were siblings, Vickie Lankford and Terry Lankford. Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, August 23, 2025, beginning at 10 o'clock at the Langley Church of God, 2444 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 o'clock at the church. Brother Eddie Hardee will officiate.
