Mildred Stevens Obituary

North Augusta, SC- Graveside Services for Mildred Stevens, 91, who entered into rest October 21, 2025, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Chris Lotz officiating. Mildred was born November 2, 1933, in Rocky Ford, GA, to the late McKinley and Thelma Calhoun Finch. She married her husband, Donald Floyd Stevens on March 22, 1956, moving across the United States due to his military service and later making North Augusta, SC her home in 1966. She was a sales associate at Hamrick's and was a devout Christian, who was actively involved in Piney Heights Baptist, Breezy Hill Baptist Church, and Victory Baptist. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mildred will be remembered for being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband, she is proceeded in death by her daughter, Cindy Kay Stevens and four brothers, McKinley "Bunk" Finch, Jr., Billy Finch, Archie Finch, and Clary Wesley Finch. Surviving members of the family left to cherish her memory include her sons, Gerry (Glory) Stevens, Timothy Stevens, and Greg (Teresa) Stevens; seven grandchildren, Gerry Stevens (Stepanie) Jr., Robert (Jordan) Stevens, Nikolaus (Jaz) Stevens, Michael Stevens, Jessica (Rob) Fitzgerald and Elisha (Jared) Pemper; nine great-grandchildren, McKinsey Stevens, Donny Stevens, Jason Pemper, Cynthia Pemper, Lydia Pemper, Sophia Pemper, Olivia Stevens, Garrison Stevens, and Bella Stevens and a brother, Randy Finch.
