MILDRED EDINGTON Obituary

EDINGTON, MILDRED ELIZABETH STONE - 96, of South Knoxville, died March 5, 2014. She was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her husband, William E. (Bill) Edington; sister, Dorothy Stone; and brother, Gordon Stone. Mildred is survived by her son, Ben Edington (Cathy); and daughter, Martha Edington all of Knoxville; granddaughters, Meredith Kerr (Jonathan) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Rachel Snell (Gabe) of Gainesville, GA; brother, James Stone (Betty); and sister-in-law, June E. Cely, all of Knoxville. The family would like to thank the staff of West Hills Health and Rehab and the University of Tennessee Medical Center Hospice Services for the compassionate care they provided. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Graystone Presbyterian Church, 139 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at Woodlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
