Michael Youngblood Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Michael Lewis "Mike" Youngblood, Sr., 57, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at his residence.
A native and life-long resident of Aiken, SC, Mike was born on June 28, 1957 to John Melvin, Sr. and Mary Johnson Youngblood. He retired from Industrial Maintenance and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Stapleton Youngblood; a daughter, AshLee (Brad) Briatico of Aiken, SC; two sons, Michael Lewis "Luke" (Kristy) Youngblood of Graniteville, SC and Jake (Meredith) Youngblood of Aiken, SC; five grandchildren, Braden Briatico, Jaxsen Briatico, Landen Briatico, Sawyer Youngblood and Olivia Youngblood; a sister, Sue Simon of Aiken, SC; two brothers, Mel Youngblood of New Ellenton, SC and Ernie Youngblood of Aiken, SC.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, July 27, 2014 at 3 o'clock at Millbrook Baptist Church. The Reverends Dr. Phillip Dunn, Stephen McNeill, and Dr. Joe Youngblood will officiate. Interment will follow in Graniteville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Summers, Brett Laird, Ed Shuford, Derek Swarthout, Cameron Allen, Rob Wilhite, Rick Caldwell, Bobby Wilhite, and Tony Hanks. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Millbrook Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Christ Central, 3605 Richland Ave. W. Aiken, SC 29803.
