Michael Stancel Obituary
Saluda, SC - A celebration of life service for Mr. Michael E. Stancel, 64, who died on Wednesday, will be held on Saturday at 11 o'clock at Faith Independent Baptist Church. The family will greet friends on Friday from 5 until 8 o'clock at the funeral home.

I served with Mike on the USS America with VMFA 333 in 71' and he was always cheerful and brought a smile to all of us. So very sorry to hear of your loss. I rode with him one weekend when we were stationed in Beaufort, SC as he traveled to N. Augusta. So very very sorry for your loss. I served 69 to 73 also and now live in Northwest florida

Our hearts are saddened at the passing of Chief Stancel. He was a true friend and made an impact on every life he touched.
