Melinda Joan Mcnulty
AIKEN - Melinda Joan Mcnulty, age 76, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Aiken SC, on May 28th, 2017, surrounded by her family. Survivors include her stepmother Estella M. Knowlton, sisters Patricia (Dan) Basford, of Heuvelton NY, and Shirley (Tom) McAdoo of Hampton VA, her children, Melody (Cliff) Binion of Aiken SC, Michele (Tom) Chiras of Hebert NC, Darlene Gunkel of Dayville CT, John (Donna) Crump of Ridgeville SC, Pamela Winslow of Plainfield CT, Patrick (Mia Hua) Emerson of Norwich CT, and Lisa Kenney of Pascoag RI. Also eighteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, many cousins nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; the late Wm. V. Knowlton and Millicent Putnam Hague and her biological mother Anna Miller Ryan. She was employed at the Stone House, Adams Tavern, and Colchester Polish Club until her disabilities became too great. She was a friend to many and always tried to fill a need. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed Nascar racing, yard sales, being entertained at the casino, and sending gifts and cards.
