Mason Johnson Obituary

It may have been five years since your passing, but in many ways it feels like it was only yesterday. Mason the love of life and family you shared with all of us continues and remains your indelible legacy to those who knew you, who loved you, and who have learned about you through others. Your legacy through our memories of you lives on.

I never knew Mr Johnson but I thank him for all the valuable research he left behind on our Ladeveze and Harper families.

Dear Betty, Skip, Margaret and Ethel. Cousin Mason was. S such a special person who had the STRENGTH to live life the way he wanted to during a time when the lines were tightly drawn . He saw beyond the boundaries and moved beyond them. He knew the joy of love and music. Mason was creating and appreciating the universal release of music until the end. Flashback--1967-68 I 'll never forget what a dashing figure he cut in that sporty Cougar! He and Karl P. are with us--I know they are telling us that this life is so short--embrace those we and live with no regrets.

I may have met Mason Johnson as a youth. I have always known him as an honorable gentleman leading a fruitful life. Peace and comfort to his immediate and extended family.

I am truly saddened to hear of Mason's passing. I am forever grateful for the many phone calls and messages over the years with Mason where we shared family history/legacy. He will truly be missed!

I did not know Mason personally, but only through his sister Margaret, who loved him very much. May God rest his weary soul and console the family.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Betty, Skip and Margaret. I was so sorry to hear of Mason's passing. He was my cousin who I will never ever forget. We spent a lot of good times together. He will be missed by everyone he knew and came in contact with during his life. I am happy to know that he's not suffering any longer. I am glad I knew you. Mason RIP.
