Mary Yoder Obituary
NEW HOLLAND, SC - A celebration of life service for Mrs. Mary R. Otto Yoder age 80 will be held 10:00 am Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Arcola, Illinois with Pastor Ron Yoder and Pastor Howard Kuhns officiating.
Mrs. Yoder was a native of Arcola, Illinois and had made New Holland her home for the past 12 years. She was the beloved wife of Mr. Joseph L. Yoder, and a daughter of the late Mr. Rudy D. Otto and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Miller Otto. Mrs. Yoder's life was surrounded around her family, friends and church. She was a very loving, giving, and talented Lady. Mrs. Yoder was a member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Arcola, Illinois and attended New Life Mennonite Church, Springfield, SC.
Additional survivors include, three sons, John (Twila) Yoder, New Holland, SC, Jerry (Jen) Yoder, Goshen, Indiana, Elva L.V. (Sharon) Yoder, Goshen, Indiana; five daughters, Laura (Glen) Hostetler, Arthur, Illinois, Lucille (Eli) Schrock, Arthur, Illinois, Rosella (Dave) Miller, Homesville, Ohio, Edith (Curt) Clayton, Arthur Illinois, Martie (James) Helmuth, Monticello, Illinois; three brothers, John R. (Irene) Otto, Melvin (Annie) Otto, Ervin (Millie) Otto, all of Arthur, Illinois; seven sisters, Anna Beachy, Arthur, Illinois, Cora Otto, Arthur, Illinois, Dorothy (Ervin) Hostetler, Arcola, Illinois, Irene (Levi) Miller, Arthur, Illinois, Martha (Andy) Mast, Lebanon, Missouri, Esther (Andy) Mast, Arthur, Illinois, Sarah Ann (Marvin) Helmuth, Sullivan, Illinois. Thirty two grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Yoder was predeceased by one son, Paul Yoder and one brother, Abraham Otto.
Pallbearers will be Lester Hosteler, Galen Schrock, Zachery Miller, Christopher Yoder, Taylor Yoder, and Addison Helmuth.
A visitation with the family was held 5:30-8:00 pm Friday, June 5, 2015 at New Holland Mennonite Church. A visitation will be held 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 pm on Sunday June 7 2015 and Monday June 8, 2015 at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Arcola, Illinois.

Mary and Joe were always a special part of the We Care family and the church family in Atmore. They were both so accepting and encouraging. Mary will be missed by all of us. Our prayers are with you, Joe, and your family.
