Mary Wright Obituary
BEECH ISLAND - Mrs. Mary Lee Wright, 78 entered into rest January 7, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 13, 2024 at St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric T. Butler officiating. Interment will be at the St. Phillip Church cemetery.
Mrs. Wright attended Jefferson High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church. She sang with the MJ Gospel Singers. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lindsey Wright.
Survivors include a son, Alfie (Parri) Wright; two daughters, Leslie (Johnny) Dobey and Tina Shaw; one sister, Agnes Robinson, grandchildren, Justin and Jairus Dobey, Courtney, Darius, Desiree, and Demarcus Wright, Vincent and Ariel Shaw; great-grandchildren, Saniya Wright and Jayden Shaw; a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held from 3-6 pm Friday, January 12, 2024 at St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church.
