Mary Pardue Whitaker
JACKSON, SC - Mary Pardue Whitaker, age 66, of Jackson, S.C., wife of the late Charles O'Neil Whitaker and daughter of the late Foster Manley Pardue and the late Mattie Mae Henry Pardue, entered into rest on Monday, December 15, 2014.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Fletcher of Beech Island, S.C.; sons, Robert Eugene Boozer of Newberry, S.C. and Robert Eugene White of Prosperity, S.C.; brothers, Eddie R. Pardue of Augusta, GA. and James E. Pardue of Clearwater, S.C., six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four nieces and seven nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Foster Manley "Frank" Pardue, Jr.
She was born Laurens, S.C. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 66 precious years that God granted her on this earth. She has finished life's journey and is now at peace with her Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ.
A service, celebrating her life, will be held at Langley First Baptist Church in Langley, S.C. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Dwayne White, Forrest White, Joe Brewer, Rick Brokington, Eric Pardue and Mike Tinsley. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
