Mary Brown Obituary
Salley - Mrs. Mary Ann Poole Brown, 71, entered into rest Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Carol Aubrey "Peanut" and Sherrie Hooker, Jr.; grandchildren: Christopher Ryan Hooker, Jennifer Hooker Toole and R. J., Terry Ray Taylor, Jr. and Melia, William Wyatt Taylor, great-grandchildren: Terry Ray Taylor, III and Ryan Hunter Toole, her spouse Jesus "Jessie" Veliz. sister Inease P. Williamson, brother I. P. "Sonny Boy" Poole Jr. and his wife Janice and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was born in Aiken County, the daughter of the late I.P. Poole, Sr. and Eula Mae Jeffcoat Poole. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Julie Ann Brown Taylor and brother Plum Jay "Doodle Bug" Poole. Mary was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Graveside Funeral Service will be 11 am Saturday at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Butch Blackwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 537 Long Point Road. Suite 203. Mt. Pleasant, SC, 29464.

Inez and I.P., I was sadden to learn of Mary Ann's death. She was my friend and "buddy" while we were in school and after graduation we went our separate ways. I never saw her again. I have never forgotten her most beautiful eyes and blonde hair. It is a painful to know that I will never have an opportunity to visit with her or to learn of her accommplishments in life. May the Lord bless you and your families, and Mary Ann's family in the coming days. Strenght in God will lead you through. Blessing to all of you.
