Marvin Ennis Obituary

Marvin "Jimmy" Ennis, Sr.
Aiken - Mr. Marvin Robert "Jimmy" Ennis, Sr., 75, of Aiken, SC, beloved husband of thirty-six years to Donna Jean Welch Ennis, entered into rest suddenly on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in the comfort of his home.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Ralph and Birdie Pettis Ennis. He retired from Columbia Nitrogen where he was a Millwright. Mr. Ennis enjoyed working, shooting pool, playing horseshoes and was an avid Gamecock fan.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his children and their spouses, Marvin, Jr. and Shannon Ennis, Graniteville, SC, Ronald and Wendi Reeves, Aiken, SC and Michelle Ennis Godwin, Beech Island, SC; two step-children, siblings, Ophelia Starnes, North Augusta, SC and Clemson Ennis, Sr., Warrenville, SC; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and seven step-grandchildren and let us not forget his beloved "fur child", Boomer. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Monson Robert "Monk" Ennis and Eddie Ennis and four sisters who died during infancy.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Ennis will be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
