Marion E. Prince
Aiken - MARION E. PRINCE, 94, beloved husband of Ruby Crowe Prince, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at his residence.
Born in Morganton, GA, Marion was the son of the late Clement A. and Elizabeth Louise Wright Prince. He grew up in Highlands, NC, attended military school before enlisting in the Army. He was a paratrooper in the 511th Airborne Division and served 27 months in Japan. Marion retired from the Raw Materials Engineering Technology Department at the Savannah River Plant with 34 years of service. He also worked in the E & I Department. He was a longtime member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is his wife of 71 years, Ruby; a daughter, Margaret Foster and a son, James Prince, all of Aiken.
A graveside service will be held Monday morning, May 23rd at 10 o'clock in Sunset Memory Gardens with The Rev. Jason Hammersley officiating.
