G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary announces the transition of Mrs. Marian Shepphard Dunbar who entered into rest September 9, 2025. Mrs. Dunbar was a member of Silver Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. She worked in the Textile Industry. Survivors include her husband, William Allen Dunbar, III; a daughter, Nancy T. (Louis) Stevens; a son, Jamell (Takeria) Dunbar; three sisters, Annie Louise Roundtree, Lisa T. (Ronald) Creech and Renita (Dea. Willie) Moody; four brothers, Willie Shepphard, Danny Thomas, Holly Thomas and Ellis (Carol) Thomas; aunt, Catherine Shepphard: brother-in-law, Theo Dunbar, Sr.; best friend, Connie Sanders; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Silver Bluff Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Marvin Morgan pastor and the Rev. Raford Roundtree eulogist. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Monday at the funeral home. Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
