Langley - Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Strang Watson, 91, of Langley, SC, wife of the late Mr. Daniel W. Watson, entered into rest on Monday, December 31, 2018.
A lifelong resident of Langley, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. Jr. and Venola German Strang. An extremely accomplished lady, she received her RN from USCA and her MSN from the Medical College of Georgia School of Nursing. She retired from Georgia Regional after over twenty years of service, where she was Director of the Child and Adolescent Unit. Miss Margret enjoyed decorative painting, crocheting and reading. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, who meant more than anything to her.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children and their spouses, Charles Leroy and Patricia Watson, Belvedere, SC, Terry L. and the late Jane Watson, Clearwater, SC and the late Floyd T. Watson, siblings, Charles Raymond Strang, Kitchings Mill, SC, Daniel F. Strang, MN, John Joseph Strang, Mexico, the late Robert F. "Buddy" Strang, the late Harold D. Strang and the late Barbara S. Calamiong, grandchildren, James Watson, Wendy W. Warren, Daniel L. Watson, the late Brian J. Watson, Eric Z. Watson, Christopher J. Watson and Jeremiah L. Watson, seventeen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 11 o'clock in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
