Margaret Ann Noel
Johnston - Margaret Ann Holmes Noel, 90, of Yonce Pond Rd., Johnston, SC, entered into rest on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Services will be held Friday June 11, at 11 A.M. at Providence Baptist Church with burial to follow in Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery in Johnston, S.C. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Mercantile Funeral Home - Johnston Chapel, 384 Lee St., Johnston, SC 29832.
Mrs. Noel was born in Johnston, SC and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Zilla Smyer Holmes. Margaret Ann graduated from Furman University in 1953 and was employed by SCE &G. She Married Everette Noel, Sr. in 1955 and was a housewife, homemaker, and devoted mother. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church and then Providence Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School at both churches and loved children of all ages. She was predeceased by her husband in 2006.
Survivors include one son, Everette W. Noel, Jr.; one daughter, Marianne N. Beja; and four grandchildren, Patrick Noel, Kathryn Noel, Robert (Claudia) Beja, and James Beja; 1 great grandchild Christopher Beja.
Margaret Ann lived her life to nurture and serve others.
Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 1701 S.C. 191 Johnston, S.C. 29832.
