Maggie Burnett
GRANITEVILLE - Maggie Mae T. Burnett, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 29th, 2018. She is survived by her son, Otis "Don" (Pam) Burnett; sisters, Mary Bell, Marion Rushton; grandchildren, Allen Reece, Erin (Rob) McFadden, Adam (Kayla) Burnett; great grandchildren, Malon McFadden, Aubrey Reece and one on the way, Cason James Burnett who is due to be born in April of 2019; a special niece, Beverly (Clifford) Rushton; and special nephew, Pat (Melody) Bell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Ludbrook Burnett; son, Charles Michael Burnett; and parents, Jessie Gordon and Bessie Yonce Thompson. Ms. Burnett loved her grandchildren and her family. She was a Godly example of what a true virtuous woman should be. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends whose lives she touched in the 93 precious years that God granted her on this earth. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at 2 o'clock pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville with the Rev. James Young officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Ms. Burnett's memory. Napier Funeral Home, Inc. 315 Main St. Graniteville, SC 29829 has been entrusted with these arrangements.
