To The Busbee Family:
Some of my earliest memories of going to school in Wagener in 7th grade was meeting Doug and meeting Mr. Jimmy and Ms. Mae at their house, I believe after a USC-Ohio football game. Anytime I saw her, even when she was older and not in the best of health, there was always a smile on her face and a kindness in her spirit. I am sure, like any Mother, that she had moments where she would put one in his or her place, but her kind disposition always showed clearly. A wry sense of humor as well from time to time.
May God's richest blessings be upon each and every one of you. Losing your Mother is one of life's toughest times, but at the same time, Death can be a welcomed friend if it relieves suffering in the body. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and that several years of good memories of her and Mr. Jimmy and family rush through my mind right now. Precious memories..... I'm glad we can have those. They always seem to help when you need them most.
With my deepest sympathies,
Richard Boone

Doug and Jackie - Kim and I are sorry to hear about the passing of Doug's mother, but ti appears she lived a wonderful life. No matter what the age they lived to and the life they lived while here - we have yet to bury a parent, and we cannot imagine the sorrow you are having. God Bless. Rhett and Kim Sinclair
