Louise Hutto Obituary

Louise Hutto

Aiken, SC - Mrs. Louise Widener Hutto, age 94, beloved wife of 66 years to the late Joe A. Hutto, entered into rest, at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday February 25, 2026.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Carl) Schmidt, Sharon Cockrell, Jerry L. (Martha) Hutto, Barry (Maura) Hutto; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; three great-great grandsons and a great-great granddaughter on the way.

In addition to her husband Joe, she is preceded in death by her parents, Robert I. and Fannie Key Widener; sons, Terry B. Hutto, Wayne Hutto, Ricky Hutto; and daughter, Debbie Hutto.

Mrs. Hutto was a member of Breezy Hill Baptist Church in Graniteville. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and flowers, especially roses. She was a faithful home maker and raised eight children. She will always be remembered as a classy lady, the best "Mama" and friend to many, but most of all for her faith and love for her Lord. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Mrs. Hutto was ready to be with Jesus and she is finally home.

A funeral service honoring her life and legacy will be held on Monday March 2, 2026 at 2PM at Breezy Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Philip Napier officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville. The family will receive friends Sunday evening March 1, 2026 at Breezy Hill Baptist from 6-8pm in the Sanctuary.

Pallbearers will be: Will Mundy, Josh Mundy, Neal Cox, T.C. Davis, David Hutto and Chris White.

Jackson Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with these arrangements.
