Linda Toomer Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Linda C. Toomer, age 56, of 110 Pipeline Rd., wife of Joseph Toomer, passed away at her residence Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Hampton Avenue Church of Christ, (Viewing 12-1 PM),1228 Hampton Ave NW, Aiken, SC. Burial will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
She was born October 7, 1960 in Aiken, SC to Robert Chislom and the late Catherine Brown Chislom. Linda graduated from Aiken High School, Class of 1978. She was a devoted member of Hampton Avenue Church of Christ. She worked many years at Aiken Housing Center.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Brown Chislom, while leaving to cherish her memory; her husband, Joseph Toomer, her father, Robert Chislom, a daughter, Erica N. Toomer, a son, Jamar (Talon) Toomer, three sisters, Virginia (Carl) Justice, Pearl (Benjamin) Tobin, Kisha (Charles) Williams, a brother, Arness (Wendy) Chislom, three grandchildren, Jadon, Neaveh, Braylon, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call the residence or JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 126 Fairfield St. SE., Aiken, SC 29801 @ 803-649-6123 from 3-8 PM Friday.
