Linda Sparling Obituary

Mrs. Linda Sparling
AUSTELL, GA - Mrs. Linda Marie Sparling, 58, of Austell, GA and a former longtime resident of Clearwater, SC, wife of the late Michael Edwin Sparling, entered into rest on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Born Quantico, VA, she was a daughter of Joe-Ann Corn Workman, Graniteville, SC and the late SSGT Roger L. "Tunney" Workman, USMC Ret. She was a Homemaker and had been a resident of Clearwater, SC, until relocating to Austell, GA, in 2007. Linda enjoyed gardening, loved animals and had a great sense of humor. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Elexis Brianna, LeAnn Celine and Elijah Justin McAlister.
In addition to her husband, parents and grandchildren, family members include a daughter, Brandy Michelle Sparling and her companion, James Freeman, Austell, GA; siblings, Roger Dale Workman and his wife, Tammy, Hendersonville, NC, Jeb Stewart Workman, Graniteville, SC and Theresa Lee "Terri" Workman Reames and her husband, Kenny, Graniteville, SC and a host of nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, Linda was cremated and the family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25, 2017, beginning and 1 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 o'clock in the chapel with Pastor Gene Brown officiating.
Due to her love for animals, the family has asked that memorials in her memory be made to your local animal shelter or humane society.

So sorry for your loss we are right there with you, asking why when you don't have any answers is hard.I believe that God needed some special Angels and sometimes he takes our babies because they are very special..Memories are made for a reason,to remind us of the love we share.
