Lillie Bodie Obituary
Graniteville, SC - Mrs. Lillie Mae Koon Bodie, age 89, beloved wife of the late Fred Wilson "F.W." Bodie, Jr., entered into rest on Wednesday March 8, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Salters (Eddie); and grandson, James Salters. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maggie Koon; siblings, Cecil Koon, Eddie Koon, Ray Koon, Collie Koon and Elise Collum.
Mrs. Bodie worked for Thermo Disc in Aiken and continued there after they became ASCO. She was a member of South Aiken Baptist Church and a loving wife mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. A graveside service honoring her life and legacy will be held on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 3pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Lillie Mae Bodie to the Aiken County SPCA at 199 Willow Run Road. Aiken, SC 29801.
