WARRENVILLE - Mrs. Leona Key Farmer, age 90, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 11th, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy F. Carr, Gerry F. (Bobby) Hydrick; brother, Jerry William Key (Nell); grandchildren, Robbie (Yvonne) Hudson, Gregg (Barbara) Hydrick, Renee (Matt) Hydrick, Joel (Sherry) Sanders, Jennifer (Dan) Evans; great grandchildren, Devon Hudson (Shelby), Chase Hudson (Caitlin), Mary Catherine Sanders, Avery Evans, Savanna Evans; one great grandson, Keagen Hudson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert W. Farmer and parents, William Howard and Viola Agness Driggers Key. Mrs. Farmer worked for Graniteville Company for 50 years and was a faithful member of the Warrenville United Methodist Church. As the scriptures say in Proverbs Chapter 31: "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies." Verse 28 says: "Her children arise up, and call her blessed". Mrs. Farmer loved her family and was loved by them in return. She will be greatly missed. A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 at 3 o'clock pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Quarles officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, August 14th, 2018 from 6-8 at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be: Woody Burkhalter, Jimmy Wood, Carl Silas, Steve Durden, Edward Inabinet, and Glenn Sanders.
