Aiken - Lena "Toosie" Pinkney was born in Waynesboro, GA on October 31st, 1959, to Bessie and Jim Pinkney. Lena transitioned to be with her Heavenly Father on August 19th, 2021.
The family will receive friends/visitors on August 27th from 2p-6p at C A Reid Funeral Home. The graveside funeral service will be Saturday, August 28th 11am at Walker Memorial Park - 611 Laney Walker Blvd Ext.

Lena..... Hearing you transitioned came as a shock. It'd almost three years now and it's still so unreal.
I remember the days of our childhood and saddness came upon me with grief, questions, and dispare.
I know you are in a better place for your earthly journey had ended with love and assuredly you are now in glory.
I Thank Our FATHER JEHOVAH For knowing you and being my friend.
We always called each other sisters and so it shall always be.

Thank you is a gross understatement. I don´t think, I´ll ever really grasp what I lost. Thank you for the unconditional love and support. I´ll always strive to lead in love the way you´ve consistently done. Thanks for being a safe haven for all children. Thanks for embracing our innocence. I never fathomed you not being here and that´s the case for a lot of us, unfortunately. I´m ok, know you´re ok. I´m glad He saw fit for me to experience you and the unconditional love. I´ll always carry you with me.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I only knew Lena for a short time but was very fond of her. She was a precious woman of God who loved her family beyond measure. She will be missed. I wish we able to be there but have been sick. Our loss is heaven´s gain of a beautiful angel .
