Leatha Odom Obituary
BATH - Mrs. Leatha Odom, 68, of Bath, SC, known by her family and friends as "Cooter", wife of the late Mr. Richard Odom, entered into rest unexpectedly on Friday, December 8, 2017.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Preston and Jessie Mae Blackwell Jones. She was a member of Gloverville Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from the Bath Mill. Mrs. Odom enjoyed reading, playing "Big Fish" online, watching TV and being with her family, especially her grands.
In addition to the husband and parents, family members include her children, Ronald Odom, Bath, SC, Rhonda Odom, Bath, SC, Renee Odom Jones and her husband, David, Langley, SC and the late Richard Rick Odom, Jr., siblings, Harold Jones and his wife, Vicki, Clearwater, SC, Julie Jones, Bath, SC, Susan Long, Bath, SC and Cindy Jones, Augusta, GA, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who dearly loved her and called her "Granny".
The family will greet friends on Thursday, December 14, 2017, beginning at 1:30 at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 o'clock in the chapel. Pastor Eder Herrera will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
It has been requested that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (www.stjude.org)
