Lawrence Abney Obituary
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mr. Lawrence Rutland Abney Sr, 68, of 1200 Talisman Dr, entered into rest March 2, 2017. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Mr Abney was a member of Zion Field Baptist Church, New Ellenton.
Survivors include his wife, Cora Bell Abney, North Augusta; one daughter, Frances (Rico) Abney, North Augusta; three sons, Lawrence R. (Chalissa) Abney Jr, North Augusta, Pinkney (Diana) Abney, and Leroy (Amanda) Abney both of Aiken; one sister, Katie (Harold) Copeland, Aiken; two brothers, Johnny H. (Louise) Abney, Hempstead, NY & Roosevelt Abney, Aiken; 12 Grandchildren; two Great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Family and friends may call the residence, 1706 Plank Rd, North Augusta.
