Hey Dad it's your other daughter. We never talked all that much but I am happy I got to have a long talk with you before you went. I wish you were still here. It's my birthday today and I haven't even enjoyed it that much b/c I haven't gotten to talk to you, even if it was just for a moment. I love you so much.

Larry Jr and Family,

This is LeighAnn.. I met you at your father's visitation.. wow.. you are a wonderful young man.. please know I wish you and yours the very best.. and hope you will take time to stay in touch through my email account. *S*

I felt so honored to have known your dad.. he was kind and humorous and a good friend. After meeting his family there with you that day.. I can see where he got it. You all are in my daily prayers.

Here is a message from a lovely woman your dad and I knew on the net..

I wanted to say a belated happy birthday to him but instead, I'm devastated by his passing. Leighann, you're right, he was very loved. He was special and a unique Man, a person full of good and warmth and love for those around him. Leighann, please express my condolences to his family, I'm so very sorry, and if you talk to little K at all, please say I'm sorry and that 'kitcat' hasn't forgotten the Wilderness Girls (I think she'll know what I mean) and tell her love ALWAYS.

There was so much I've wanted to say to him, but it's too late now.

With much sadness,

“kitcaaaaaat” / riptide

Love you always Spunky.

"Those we Love remain with us,

For Love itself lives on.

Cherised memories never fade,

Because one loved is gone.

Those we love can never be,

More than a thought apart,

For as long as there is a memory,

They live on in our heart."

My deepest sympathies to Larry's family- Patty, Larry,Jr., Alyson, Matt and Kara. From the years of working daily with Larry, and from the talks we had, I realized one thing for certain. If ever there was a man who lived for the love and happiness of his children, Larry was that man. I'm thankful to have had the pleasure of not only working with him, but knowing the kind of man he was, where it counted the most; his heart. I'd like to believe that Larry's spirit is looking down on all of us right now...watching as we go through each day with a solemn face, and somehow, someway sending a message to us all in a way that could only be Larry's way. We'll remember Larry, each in our own ways, but everyone will have ONE memory in common. We'll remember how he made us SMILE.

Hey, Larry, this is your little sister. I know you are out there somewhere, so I just thought I'd leave you a little note to say good-bye. I know we had a rough and rocky road, (as most siblings do!!)but the love between us was always there. I knew it, and you knew it, and that is all that matters. Love you, and will miss you, Love, your sis, Patti
