Larry J. Key
AIKEN - LARRY J. KEY, 69, died Sunday, June 3, 2018.
A native and life-long resident of Aiken County, Larry was a son of the late Harold Woodrow and Agnes Seigler Key. He was the founder and owner of Key Chemicals, Inc. Larry loved his family, friends, farming and fast cars.
Survivors include his daughter, Stacy Key, Aiken; son, Rev. Perry Key, Augusta; three grandchildren, Cale, Abi and Drew Winburn; brother, Ronald Key, Shreveport, LA; former wife, Christine Jernigan, North Augusta.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 6th from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral will be Thursday afternoon, June 7th at 1 o'clock at Central Baptist Church with The Revs. Dr. B. E. Pettit and Buddy Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Yonce, David Cooper, Jim Smith, Stewart Maurice, Wallace Kitchings and Rick Thornton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Slaven and Jim Hopkins.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Central Baptist Church, 1652 Wire Rd., Aiken, SC 29805 or Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 3965 Deans Bridge Rd., Hephzibah, GA 30815.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Key. Over the years he was very helpful in making sure I had everything I needed when ordering supplies for my Aiken High Cheerleaders.
