Rev. Lallie Clarke Boyd
BEECH ISLAND, SC - Rev. Lallie Clarke Boyd, age 79, of Beech Island, S.C., wife of the late Rev. Gerald Boyd and daughter of the late Richard Clarke and the late Collie Mae Baughman Clarke, answered God's call and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
She is survived by sons, David Allen Boyd and Todd Edward Heath both of Aiken, S.C.; daughters, Kathy Lynn LeRoy of Beech Island, S.C. and Rebecca Boyd of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Boyd, Jessica L. Boyd, Todd Edward Heath, Jr., Ethan Z. Heath; C. Allan McGinty, Olivia McGinty, Andrew LeRoy and Alicia Witmer; great-grandchildren, Moses and Abraham Boyd and Norah Witmer; caregivers, Deloris Barretto and Michael Condo.
She was born in Warrenville, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. She loved her family and her Lord with all of her heart. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith and spent most of her life preaching and teaching the Gospel to her fellowman. She was the Pastor of Abundant Life Church in Clearwater for many years. In years past, she and her late husband had also pastored Augusta Congregational Holiness Church, Perry Assembly of God in Perry, S.C., and Congregational Holiness Churches in Jackson, S.C. and in Rome, Ga. It would be amazing to know the number of men and women, boys and girls that she has lead to Christ. There will surely be many stars in her "Crown". She shall be greatly missed by her family and many friends; however, she would not come back to this old world of sorrow if she could. She has fought a good fight, she has run the race, she has kept the faith; and now she has gone to receive her "Crown of Life". Earth's loss is truly, Heaven's gain. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening, Sept. 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Jonathan Randall, Rev. Judy Randall and Dr. William "Bill" Trezza officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery.
