Lacey Colyer Obituary
RIDGE SPRING, S.C. - Lacey Colyer, age 31, of Ridge Spring, S.C., loving daughter of John and Angela Hancock Colyer, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Barry and Joyce Rhinehart; a brother, John Colyer, Jr.; a special little girl in her life, who she loved very much, Alssya Mitchell and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Joann Key Hancock.
She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She held the position of Manager with Office Max in Evans, Ga. She attended the Graniteville Church of God. She loved football, and she also loved spending time with her family. Her family stated that Lacey loved life, never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. In summation, what a better world it would be if everyone had Lacey's personality. Yes, Lacey will truly be missed by her family and many friends; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and Lacey shall live on forever in everyone's hearts. She has finished her journey and is now at peace with her Maker.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening, September 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life, will be held at the Graniteville Church of God in Graniteville, S.C. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brandon Key officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
