Kirk Dale Losier
Warrenville - Funeral services for Mr. Kirk Dale Losier age 50 will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday July 13, 2022 at St. James Lutheran Church, Graniteville with Rev. Frederick Klinker officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken. Kirk entered into rest Thursday July 7, 2022 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Aiken, SC.
He was born in Pittsburg, PA and had made Aiken County his home since 1976. He was the son of Mrs. Ruth Lusk Vance of Aiken and the late Mr. Dale Andrew Losier. Kirk started his career with Losier Stucco and Stone in Aiken and then moved on to Duke Energy in Oconee County, SC and worked there for 2 years in construction. For the past few years Kirk was associated with New Ellenton HVAC as a Technician. Kirk attended St. James Lutheran Church, Graniteville and enjoyed playing a good game of golf and wetting a hook, and fishing with his buddies. Boating and working on cars was a favorite past time for him and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Football Fan.
Additional Survivors include one brother, Todd (Lisa) Vance, Roanoke, VA; one sister, Julie (Evan) Groner, Bethlehem, PA; four nieces, Emilee Losier, Colie (Bill) Gerstenglager, Ella Vance, and Naomi Vance; four nephews, Miles Vance, Simon Vance, Carson Groner, and Ross Groner; two great nieces, Quinn Meek and Aubrey Gerstenslager, both of Aiken; one great nephew, Kaiden Palmer, Aiken, and his four legged companion Buddy. Kirk was predeceased by a brother, Craig Losier, and his step father, Gilbert H. Vance.
Pallbearers will be Jeff White, Travis Ryan, Drew Meek, Chris Chapman, Dillon White, Vic Currie, Brent Canady, and Riley Herron. The family has suggested that memorials be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 200 Laurel Drive, Graniteville, SC 29829. A visitation with the family will take place Wednesday July 13, 2022 starting at 12:30 pm till 1:45 pm at St. James Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.
