Graniteville, SC - Kevin Michael Healey, age 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family. Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on August 1, 1957, Kevin spent his later years in Graniteville, South Carolina, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and the beauty of craftsmanship. Kevin's rich life was a tapestry woven with family, service, and passion. A dedicated carpenter by trade, he found immense joy in the art of creating with his hands. Whether through wood carving, metal working, drawing, or sculpting, Kevin had a remarkable ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. His meticulous nature and artistic talent were also evident in his beloved hobbies of coin collecting and fishing, activities he enjoyed sharing with his family and friends. Kevin proudly served his country as a member of the Army, a period in his life that he recalled with fondness and pride. His commitment to his nation was only matched by his devotion to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Elizabeth A. Healey, whose love was the cornerstone of his life. Together, they nurtured and raised their family with care and devotion. Kevin leaves behind his two sons, Jacob Healey of Gainesville, Florida, and Zachary Healey and his wife Erin of Graniteville, who will forever cherish his memory. He is also survived by his brother, Brendan Healey and his wife Lois of Bangor, Maine, and his four sisters, Jennifer Madairy and her husband Danny, Sharon Gioioso and her husband Paul, Danielle Sigmon and her husband John, and Susan Healey and her wife Hayley. His legacy continues through his cherished granddaughter, Desirea-Rose Martel, who brought him immense joy and pride. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Phyllis Healey, as well as his son, Douglas Healey, whose memories he held close to his heart.
