AIKEN - Kenneth "Kenny" Anthony Reardon, 67, died at his home on May 27th, 2022. Ken was born in Montreal in 1955, the third child of four to parents Kenneth and Suzanne Reardon. Kenny was a realtor and lifelong entrepreneur.
Kenny was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing trips with his three beloved sons. As the son of a former professional hockey player, Kenny was a passionate fan of the Montreal Canadiens Hockey team. In between fishing trips, Kenny loved spending time on the farm with his two dogs, Ruby and Sasha, surrounded by his barn family. Throughout the years, Kenny was an active member of the Aiken Community both personally and professionally. For many years, volunteering his time as track coach at Aiken High School.
Survivors include three children: Desmond Calder Reardon (Jesse), Kenneth Schuyler Reardon (Jordan), and Hendrie Desmond Reardon (Bridget), and two granddaughters Adeline Rose, Allison Grace Reardon, and the mother of his children Deirdre Stoker Vaillancourt (Michel). His two brothers, Donny (Betty) and Tony Reardon, and his two nieces Ashley Govan, Lindsay Rozon (Tim), and his nephew James Govan. He was predeceased by his elder sister, Catherine Govan.
After a private cremation, the family will receive friends at Shellhouse Funeral Home (924 Hayne Ave SW) for a visitation between 3:30 and 4:30pm with a service beginning at 4:30. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at Kenny's beloved Farm, Bella Vista Farm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested contributions to an animal shelter of friend's choice.
