Kenneth King Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Virgil King, 86, beloved husband of Mrs. Linda Greene King, of Langley, South Carolina, entered into rest on Friday, September 19, 2025, in the comfort of his home. A graveside service will be on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 3 o'clock in Langley Cemetery, Langley, South Carolina, with Rev. Wesley Greene officiating. Mr. King's grandsons and Sean Greene will serve as pallbearers. Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Dorothy Corley King, a grandson, David King, brother, and a sister, Herbie King and Ann King Ables, mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Ruth Greene, and a brother-in-law, Benny Greene. Left to cherish his memory with his wife are his sons and their wives, Ricky and Pam King, Todd and Sherri King, Mark and Crystal King, and Len and Denise King; a sister, Aleta Campbell (Curtis); grandsons, Scott King, Joshua King (Taylor), Jeremy King (Sara), Race King (Lorna Mathis), and Karson King (Megan); great-grandchildren, Kinley Michelle, Kaylin Elizabeth, Sullivan, Rowan, Kason, Brynleigh, and baby Cooper due in December; sister and brothers-in-law, Mary King, Sandra Greene, Doug and Geneva Greene, Kathy and Gary Swanson, and Wesley and Debbie Greene. Mr. King was born in Augusta, Georgia. He retired from United Parcel Service after thirty years of service. Before his health declined, he was a member of Highland Pines Baptist Church, and he was formerly a member of the L.B.C. Lions Club. Kenneth loved the outdoors, especially fishing, but most of all, he loved the time spent with his wife, sons, and their families.
